Yes, the beginning of a New Year is full of opportunities and possibilities, making it one of the most exciting times of the year for any and all hard working marketers out there. But what does the New Year have in store for SEO and 2024 SEO trends? Is SEO the key to marketing success in 2024?

Predicted marketing trends for 2024 focus heavily on 3 areas:
- AI and automation
- Authenticity and client case studies
- Video & audio
And, as such, seem to be heavily based in content creation.
This is no surprise as quality content and the practice of content marketing – selling the benefits of your product or service to your customers within the confines of a well-written/well-presented story – has stood at the very core of effective marketing activities for hundreds of years; way before computers and smartphones and Google were ever invented or even considered to be a possibility.
Couple this, then, with the fact that – over the last few years – big tech brands such as Apple have been pushing back against PPC and intrusive advertising, and social media has leaned heavily towards video & audio content and away from static imagery, it’s easy to see that SEO and personalised content will be the dominating activities of 2024.
So, if I were to give anyone reading this blog 1 piece of content marketing advice for 2024 it would be this:

Create informative and well-researched articles, gather reviews and case studies from your clients & customers, and create videos for your website & social media platforms – this content will serve you extremely well in 2024 and beyond.
